We believe church ought to be a relevant and exciting place where you can meet with God and get involved in His purposes. It’s that kind of church that the Lord has built here at Alta Loma Christian Church. We’re a family and we love coming together. We trust that on the pages of this site you’ll find answers to the questions you might have about our church family. If you do have any questions please don’t hesitate to contact us. It really would be an incredible honor to serve you.

  3. Jesus prayed alone.
  4. Jesus prayed in community.
  5. Jesus prayed before meals.
  6. Jesus offered thanks.
  7. Jesus sang some prayers.
  8. Jesus prayed before making important decisions.

People grow in small groups! Christians mature in small groups. Relationships develop in small groups.Small Groups Strengthen Your Growth. Our small groups connected people to Jesus through·

  • Prayer
  • Purpose
  • Vision
  • Freedom
  • Resources
  • Life Strategy
  • Fellowship

One size does not fit all.

Our small group model is designed to fit your needs. We meet at different locations and different times throughout the week

Small groups are more than Bible study groups.

Various types of groups meet the needs of people at different life stages—

  • physical,
  • emotional,
  • social,
  • spiritual, and so on.

It’s about growing people, not programs. Just as Jesus meets people where they are, our small groups start where people are—not where the leader wants them to be.

Small group leaders do not grow the group; God does that. Leaders listen, discern, and participate with the Holy Spirit to create the optimum conditions for people to grow.

Small groups keep changing. People change. Small groups are organic. Like a garden, a variety of people grow at the same time, but at different rates. People move from one season of life to another. The initial reason they joined a small group may no longer exist. Life changes.
